Physical Accessibility

No Fun Club is committed to offering a comfortable and accessible experience to people of all abilities.

All spaces and entryways in the studio are accessible by wheelchair; they are either level with the main space, or accessible by means of a wheelchair ramp.

There are two entrances into the studio. One entrance door has a flight of 4 stairs leading up to it from the parking lot, and no ramp. The second entrance door is to the left of the stairs, and leads into a garage which is level with the parking lot. From the garage into the main building, there is a ramp as well as a flight of 4 stairs. Both of these doorways have push buttons.

There are three single stall restrooms on site. They are wheelchair accessible and have reach bars. The main bathroom is located in between our two studio spaces. The other two restrooms are in the studio’s bunk rooms. Participants will be shown the locations of the restrooms shortly after arriving on site. All bathrooms are gender inclusive, and are clearly labelled as such. The bathrooms do not have urinals.

Financial Accessibility

No Fun Club is dedicated to making the studio accessible to the greatest extent of both our financial and personal resources. We are committed to offering accessible and inclusive artistic and educational opportunities. We strive to be technically accessible to all and to democratize information by sharing our knowledge for free through our social media platforms and youtube channel.

The studio offers an assortment of free educational opportunities, including engineering mentorships, in which we prioritize creating space for burgeoning engineers from diverse and marginalized groups, including Black People, Indigenous Peoples, People of Colour (BIPOC) and gender minorities. We also offer discounted or free sessions to partners and participants of various community based organizations. Various events will be free for youth and BIPOC partners and our space is open to be used by these groups. These are all offered on a case-by case basis and when time and resources permit.

In order to reduce the cost of recording sessions, we provide free use of studio tape to recording artists. We regularly offer information on how to reduce the cost of recording. We recognize the financial commitment of music recording and we endeavour to make the opportunity more accessible to artists from all walks of life.
